Dude… I got a Dell

Typically, I've looked at other brands in the past when it comes to a laptop go-to. For years, I've used my personal devices for work as well as play, taking full advantage of the sound system, graphics, and more. This year, however, Dell has re-launched the Dell XPS 13 with several new updates that I can tell will make my life a LOT easier! The most exciting thing that I'm looking forward to trying is the Dell Cinema software. This is a big upgrade from the last XPS, which I also have in Rose Gold! Here are a few more details on my favorite things to expect:

Dell Cinema

  •  CinemaColor 2.0
    • ○  Dell Color Profiles delivers richer, more vibrant color and details via four user-selectable cinematic themes (Movie, Evening, Animation, Sports) that are specifically tuned to deliver the best viewing experience within those environments.
    • ○  Dolby Vision - the most advanced technology that makes the most of HDR content’s superior dynamic range to deliver infinitely deep blacks, dazzling brights, incredibly vibrant color and stunning contrast for the most immersive visual experience possible. Currently only available on the new XPS 13 and coming to other products.
  • CinemaSound 2.0
    • ○  Intelligent Bass Enhancement helps deliver a lush, dynamic low-end with greater perceived bass throughout the volume range with Waves MaxxAudio® Pro
    • ○  Sound Optimization adjusts sound equalization as convertible 2-in-1 devices transition from one entertainment mode to the next (laptop, tablet, tent, or stand mode), delivering a more consistent audio experience no matter which mode the device is in.
  • CinemaStream 2.0
    • ○   Dell CinemaStream intelligently prioritizes your streaming content. Video content and web chats get maximum bandwidth for less buggering and incredible resolution.
